The South Carolina Chamber has chosen Williams as the representative of the business community.
“Michelin has been an important part of the business community in South Carolina for decades, with its North American Headquarters located in the Upstate and production facilities all around the state,” Ted Pitts, CEO of South Carolina Chamber, said. “Through programs like the Michelin Scholars program, Michelin has long been a leader on the workforce development front. When we were looking to fill this seat we felt it was important to appoint someone that is on the frontlines of hiring South Carolinians to do today’s jobs and understands today’s workforce challenges firsthand.
