Officials recently inducted Harry Mashburn into the prestigious local Carolinas chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Hall of Fame.

Bill Mashburn, secretary and treasurer of DJ Rose & Son, Inc., nominated Harry Mashburn for the award.

Mashburn did not know about the induction until June 29, while he attended the 2016 CAGC Divisions’ Conference on Hilton Head Island. He was there with his wife and his two sons.

Only certain people can be nominated for this award. They must be either a past or a present CAGC member, have at least 15 years of experience with the CAGC and the construction industry, and be a minimum of 50 years old.

“We are all so very proud of him, all he has done and all he continues to do for our industry, Mashburn Construction Company and each one of us,” Jane Andrews, VP of Administration, said.
