Two new members have joined the team at Charleston, South Carolina's Frampton Construction Co. LLC — project manager Brendan Gilbert and intern Selby Austin.
Gilbert comes to Frampton after an internship with the Industrial Company, where he was a quality engineer. He also served as a field engineer intern with Mashburn Construction. He holds an associate's degree in construction science and management from Clemson University and a 30-hour OSHA card.
Gilbert will be tasked with assisting Frampton's superintendent with all regular company functions, as well as with working closely with the company's owners and subcontractors as they complete projects.
Austin is currently studying at Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee, where he is a double major in economics and Spanish. He will graduate in May 2017.
Austin's internship will see him doing a green construction analysis of the Booz Allen/SPARC project. He will also be responsible for helping to compile weekly reports, agendas and meeting minutes and will be on-site at the company's construction projects.
