Eighty new jobs will be created when Pure Power Technologies Inc. expands its operations in Richland County, South Carolina.
Company officials recently announced plans to invest $15 million in the facility at 1410 Northpoint Blvd., Blythewood, which produces fuel injection systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
"Pure Power’s decision to expand here is a great vote of confidence in Richland County,” Richland County Council Chair Torrey Rush said. “Pure Power employs some of the most technology-driven processes in the Southeast, and this new investment is a reflection on our community’s commitment to education and workforce development.”
Pure Power Technologies specializes in precision fuel, air-management and after-treatment systems for light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles for original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. The Blythewood expansion will see the addition of cutting-edge injector technology.
