The best places to work in the Palmetto State in 2016 have been selected by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Best Companies Group and SC Biz.
Sixty companies were honored this year — the 11th year for the Best Places to Work in South Carolina list. Representatives from those companies will be recognized at an Aug. 4 ceremony.
The rankings of the companies on the list — 36 small-medium businesses and 24 large employers — will also be revealed at the ceremony. Of the 60 companies on the list, 37 belong to the South Carolina Chamber.
"South Carolina is full of great places to work because our employers across the state understand what it takes to attract and keep good people," Chamber President Ted Pitts said. "Our South Carolina business community is only as good as the companies that are part of it and this list is a strong showing of how many topnotch workplaces there are in the state. The State Chamber is proud to represent many of the companies on this list and we applaud those that have been selected for this year’s award. We look forward to recognizing your achievements in August.”
