The Agape Main Street Complex at 1614, 1620 and 1626 Main St. in Columbia, South Carolina, a project of Mashburn Construction and Lambert Architecture + Construction, recently received the Honor Award for accomplishments in maintaining the buildings' historic and architectural integrity during preservation and rehabilitation projects.
The complex's three buildings have a combined square footage of 43,000 square feet. The buildings were dilapidated upon purchase by Agape, a senior health care company. They now house office, retail and health care spaces.
The award was sponsored by the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation, the South Carolina Department of Archives and History and the office of the lieutenant governor.
