“With his strong local connections and experience Matt will add value and quality for projects and clients in South Carolina,” Thompson said. “Matt will be able to leverage the full depth of the CBRE Global Project Management platform to bring global best practices to our local delivery of services.”

A Charleston native, Williams brings over eight years of expertise in construction. “We are excited to add Matt to our South Carolina team. His [skill set] will greatly enhance our service offering to our clients,” Steve Smith, CBRE’s managing director for South Carolina, said.

Williams will be tasked with developing project plans in the Charleston sector, supporting the company with his existing industry connections. With the backing of the company’s Carolinas Project Management team, he will oversee local projects while streamlining operations for Los Angeles-based CBRE, as well as implementing savings for clients.
