Troy Hall, CEO of North Charleston, South Carolina-based South Carolina Federal Credit Union, has acceped an appointment as board chairman for Lowcountry Orphan Relief (LOR), a non-profit dedicated to providing clothing for children in crisis in the tri-county area.
Hall has been on the LOR board for three years and has volunteered with the charity since 2007. LOR is one of South Carolina Federal Credit Union's designated non-profits.
Since LOR was launched in 2006, the organization has assisted more than 20,000 children.
“It is an honor and privilege to serve with this organization and its generous volunteers,” Hall said. “The work they do to provide pieces of security and comfort to children in their most critical times is indispensable.”
