The South Carolina Medical Association Board of Trustees has tapped Dr. Todd Schlesinger as its new chairman.
Schlesinger founded the Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston and the Clinical Research Center of the Carolinas. He has operated a private dermatology practice since 1998 and is the current president-elect of the Charleston County Medical Society.
Schlesinger holds a medical doctorate from the State University of New York-Buffalo and completed residency in dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation; he is certified through the American Board of Dermatology.
At his research center, Schlesinger and his staff conduct clinical trials of new therapies and devices for use by dermatologists.
