South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley recently chose Todd Dailey, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and partner with Columbia-based Derrick, Stubbs & Stith LLP, to serve on the South Carolina Board of Accountancy.
This board issues licenses to more than 6,000 CPAs across the Palmetto State. At Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, Dailey provides a variety of clients with accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting services.
Dailey earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina. He has been a CPA since 1993 and earned his CVA license in 1999.
Dailey belongs to the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) and is chair of the Regulatory Legislative and Advocacy Committee. He is also involved with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), University of South Carolina Friends of Accounting and University of South Carolina Alumni Association.
“Todd’s commitment and knowledge as well as his work with SCACPA to improve the practice of public accounting in our state will be an asset to the South Carolina Board of Accountancy,” Charles R. Statler, Jr., managing partner at Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, said. “Everyone at Derrick Stubbs congratulates him on this honor and supports his vital work on the board.”
