New football coach on the field at Berkeley High School

South Carolina's Berkeley High School (BHS) in Moncks Corner recently welcomed Randy Robinson as its new varsity football coach.

"I am very excited to welcome Coach Robinson back to the Stag family,” Steven Steele, BHS principal, said. β€œHe will bring the experience and the excitement to the program that will motivate our student-athletes to meet and exceed their potential. We are all looking forward to the great things to come from Stag football this fall.”

Robinson comes to BHS from D.W. Daniel High School in central South Carolina, where he served as varsity football coach since 1995. His career as an educator began 27 years ago; his first teaching job was at Berkeley Middle School.

Robinson's resume also includes teaching and coaching positions at Carolina High School. He has served the schools for which he worked not only as a teacher and football coach, but also as defensive coordinator for football teams, junior varsity basketball coach and coach for varsity track and golf teams.
