"Transforming Nonprofits Through Innovative Leadership" is the theme for this year's Shine the Light Nonprofit Forum series, which is a project of DNA Creative Communications in Greenville, South Carolina.
DNA was assisted in organizing the seminars by the Community Foundation of Greenville, United Way of Greenville County and Hollingsworth Funds. The first session, “Leading Forward: The Mindset of the Nonprofit Leader,” is set for May 10. The session will run from 8 a.m. to noon at The Warehouse Theatre, 37 Augusta St., Greenville. Keynote speaker at the session will be Jovian Zayne, professional development coach.
“Jovian is an amazing leader as she embodies and embraces the essence of leadership: to inspire, engage and empower others," Carla Harris, vice chair of Morgan Stanley, said.
“This year’s Shine the Light series focuses on innovation in leadership and is designed to help nonprofit leaders develop the skills to generate transformational change to ensure their organizations thrive in the future,” Debbie Nelson, president of DNA and founder of Shine the Light, said. “Each session takes a closer look at key areas where leaders can engage, inspire and encourage their teams to shape an organization prepared to face the challenges of today and tomorrow.”
