Health care data company ChartSpan Medical Technologies Inc. will launch operations in Greenville, South Carolina's downtown — a $3.2 million investment that is expected to create 300 new jobs.
“This is an unbelievably exciting moment in ChartSpan’s evolution," CEO and co-founder Jon-Michial Carter said. "We have a deep love and affinity for Greenville."
ChartSpan began in 2013 as part of the NEXT Innovation Center in Greenville. The company's focus is on patient engagement technology and medical managed services. The new clinical support operation will be housed in a 100,000 square-foot office facility at 2 N. Main St.
“Greenville County continues to grow and support cutting-edge technology companies like ChartSpan because of our high quality of life, well-educated workforce and innovative business sector," Greenville County Council chair Bob Taylor said. "We are thrilled to see ChartSpan’s entrepreneurial spirit and efforts lead to this expansion here in Greenville.”
