Carolina One Real Estate Services’ corporate and community relations director, Vito Scarafile, was honored recently when he was accepted into the Joint Base Charleston 2016 Honorary Commanders Program, a program developed to bring together area citizens and stakeholders, both military and civilian, to share ideas and strategies as well as to promote cooperation between Charleston, South Carolina’s civilian and military communities.
As part of the program, members will accompany commanders of wing, group and tenant units at Joint Base Charleston Air Base and the Weapons Station as they go about their duties.
Scarafile has been a fixture in Charleston’s promotional advertising sector for 35 years. He was the owner of his own company, Lee Wayne Carolina. He graduated from Utica College of Syracuse in 1965.
At Carolina One, he handles public relations and internal and external communications. He also oversees volunteer initiatives for the company.
