Charleston, South Carolina-based law firm Parker Poe has enhanced its offerings in construction law services with the addition of Felicia S. Preston and Taylor H. Stair to its Construction Practice Group.
Preston and Stair are ready to serve clients in all areas of construction, including owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, materials vendors, architects, engineers, managers and financial institutions.
Preston, a former law clerk for United States District Court for the District of South Carolina Judge J. Michelle Childs, was based in Parker Poe’s Columbia, South Carolina office where she was a member of the company’s litigation department. She will now work from the Charleston office. She is equipped to handle a variety of case types, such as business litigation, property disputes and construction matters.
Stair, who has an extensive background in complex construction cases, will handle such case types as construction litigation, complex commercial litigation and insurance cases, working with owners, developers, homebuilders and contractors.
He is also experienced in representing clients in cases involving single- and multi-family homes and commercial properties as well as in contract drafting and review.
