The management and staff of the Courtyard Charleston Summerville hotel in South Carolina, which has only been in operation for a year, were honored recently with the Marriott Chairman's award.
The Marriott Chairman's award recognition is reserved for Courtyard hotels that maintain a number one ranking for overall customer satisfaction. The Summerville location is owned by Southeastern.
"The staff of Courtyard Charleston Summerville has set the bar high in many aspects during its first year, and we are eager to continue providing the best possible guest experience," Beau Benton, president of LBA Hospitality, said. LBA Hospitality is the hotel management, development and consulting company that manages the hotel.
Sean Rowe is the Courtyard Charleston Summerville's general manager. Rowe and his team also posted high scores for their first year in the areas of intent to recommend, overall staff service, cleanliness of guest rooms and arrival experience.
"Our team is very proud of these accomplishments," Rowe said
"We are grateful to work with an ownership group and management company that provide us with the product and tools to support our goals," Rowe said.
