Eastwood Homes marks 15,000th closing

Eastwood Homes, a home-building company in Charleston, North Carolina, recently marked a milestone — the closing on its 15,000th home.

Eastwood Homes was founded by Joseph K. Stewart nearly four decades ago.

“I started the company in 1977 and I wanted to make a difference," Stewart said. "Having the opportunity to share our success with our homeowners is a tremendous feeling. Reaching 15,000 closings is an accomplishment that I share with my team. I appreciate the commitment they have to building homes with outstanding craftsmanship and continuing our business with integrity so that our message of 'Built with Care' lives on for years to come.”

The company now operates locations in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; Charleston and Greenville, South Carolina; and Richmond, Virginia.

“It has been a real pleasure experiencing our growth in the Charleston area," Dion Matheney, vice president of sales for the Charleston Division of Eastwood Homes, said. "Eastwood Homes is a company that is truly dedicated to its homeowners. Recognizing a homeowner in each division is a tremendous way to honor our growth and thank all of our 15,000-plus customers for placing their trust in Eastwood Homes.”
