Andrew Edwards has joined the team at Mount Pleasant, South Carolina company Regina Corso Consulting.
Edwards has been tapped as the firm's new SVP of public relations and communications. In his new role, he will assist clients in building and utilizing their communications initiatives through coaching, survey concepts and social media. He will also provide advice on internal communications, sales and marketing programs and branding.

Edwards' resume includes more than a decade in public relations as well as stints as vice president of public relations and affairs at Harris Interactive/Nielsen; founder and president of Surge Research and senior management positions at Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Ruder Finn.

He has worked with major clients including Amgen, Liz Claiborne, Novartis, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Roche, Sanofi and the Korea International Trade Association.
