Hobby Lobby opens 15th South Carolina location in Charleston

The new North Charleston, South Carolina Hobby Lobby craft and home decor store will be welcomed to the area on Feb. 29 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration at 9 a.m.


The new North Charleston, South Carolina Hobby Lobby craft and home decor store will be welcomed to the area on Feb. 29 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration at 9 a.m.

With the opening of the new location, located at Rivers Avenue and Eagle Landing Boulevard in the Promenade at Northwoods, the national chain operates 15 South Carolina stores. The new 55,000-square-foot store will be under the leadership of store manager David Anderson.

“The success of our stores in South Carolina is a good indicator that area shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” John Schumacher, assistant VP of advertising for Hobby Lobby, said.

Based in Oklahoma City, Hobby Lobby operates 700 stores across the U.S.
