Ohio Governor John Kasich's second place finish in New Hampshire has propelled him into second place in the South Carolina Presidential Primary, according to a new poll.
The poll, conducted by American Research Group among likely South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary voters, found that Kasich is in second place with fifteen percent of the vote.
Businessman Donald Trump has retained his first place spot with thirty five percent.
Kasich is followed by Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (14%); Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (12%); and, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush (10%).
The survey was completed during February 12-13, 2016 among 400 randomly selected, likely Republican primary voters living in South Carolina.
The South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary will take place Saturday, February 20, 2016.
