Sidney Porto and Monica Correa are the two newest members of the management team of Charleston, South Carolina supply chain management and support firm Concentric.
Porto serves as the firm's general manager for the U.S. and managing director for South America. He came to the company in mid-2015.
Porto's extensive resume includes a variety of jobs in the operations and engineering field. Over the past 25 years he has served automotive industry companies in roles such as head of quality, manufacturing engineering, shop operations, safety, environmental, facilities and equipment maintenance, product and applications engineering.
Porto's other qualifications include project management, six sigma methodology, product and process design, validation, implementation and improvement, and cost reduction.
Correa is Concentric's new business development and administrative associate. She brings to the company many skills, such as the ability to speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English.
A 2007 College of Charleston graduate, Correa worked in bilingual interpreting in the medical and health care sectors before choosing to move into property and casualty commercial insurance sales.
