Moore Taylor, a law firm that operates offices in West Columbia and Saluda, South Carolina, has tapped William "Bill" Fortino as a new partner.
Fortino hails from Syracuse, New York. He holds a bachelor's degree from LeMoyne College and earned his law degree in 2009 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a member of both the Lexington County and South Carolina Bar Associations as well as the South Carolina Association for Justice. He is also licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court.
Fortino's focus is on family law. He has counseled clients in many divorce, child custody, child support, property division, adoption and a variety of other domestic law court cases.
Outside the courtroom, Fortino serves as a speaker for the National Business Institute and the Continuing Legal Education program of the South Carolina Bar. He also serves on the board of Fresh Start SC.
