A new leader is in place at the Low Country office of Junior Achievement (JA) in South Carolina.
The Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina's board of directors has tapped Jeni Becker as the Low County location's coastal area director. In this role, Becker will be tasked with overseeing JA's work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy initiatives.
Becker is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. Her resume includes 12 years in the field of student lending and financial literacy
"Ms. Becker’s experience will be invaluable to this organization," Casey Pash, president and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina, said. “Her successful leadership abilities make her ideally suited to connect area business leaders, community funding opportunities and education initiatives for Greater South Carolina’s Junior Achievement programs. Her financial literacy background and previous experience, as a JA student and volunteer, will help grown the Coastal Junior Achievement programs.”
Junior Achievement is an international volunteer program aimed at preparing young people to succeed in the workplace.
