Four new agents have joined the team at Carolina One Real Estate Services, a company based in the metro Charleston, South Carolina area that offers from its 11 offices a full range of mortgage, insurance, new homes, relocation, commercial real estate, property management, vacation rental and title services.
The new agents are Cortney Hardee, Lisa Laventure, James Owens and Deborah Rogers. Hardee and Laventure will be based in Carolina One's Orleans Road office in West Ashley, and Owens and Rogers will work from the company's Mount Pleasant location on Highway 17.
Hardee came to Charleston three years ago from her native Hickory, North Carolina. Before earning her real estate license she worked as a paramedic and emergency medical technician.
She now lives in West Ashley with her husband and their two children.
Laventure holds a bachelor's degree in education from Michigan's Saginaw Valley State University. After moving to Charleston, she took a teaching position at the Charleston Charter School for Math and Science and later decided to change career paths and go into real estate.
She is married and has two sons.
Owens is a Trident Technical College graduate and a Charleston native. He holds an associate's degree in mechancial engineering, and before becoming a realtor worked as an engineer for ADC Engineering Specialists and Commissioners of Public Works.
Owens lives with his wife and five children in Mount Pleasant.
Before coming a real estate agent Rogers, an Atlanta, Georgia native, worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant and for Security National Mortgage as a loan originator.
Rogers earned a degree in business administration from the University of Alabama. She now lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband; they are the parents of two children.
Carolina One has been in operation for more than five decades.
