American College of the Building Arts hires new librarian

The American College of the Building Arts in Charleston, South Carolina recently hired Jacyln Lyons as its director of library services.

In her new role, Lyons will work to increase the library's collection with both modern and archival volumes, as well as obtain more tools for its archival collection and other architectural examples.

The library provides these items for both the students of the college and anyone interested in the subject.

Lyons is a graduate of Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics. She has a master's of science in library and information science with a specialization in archives. She also has a master's degree in English from the State University of New York-New Paltz and a master's degree in literature and the environment from New York University-Gallatin.
