The Charleston, South Carolina RiverDogs baseball team recently hired Tyler Schwemin as their new director of video production.
In his new role, Schwemin will be producing video content at the ballpark and for the team's website.
Schwemin worked last season as a video production assistant for the team, as well as producing a number of Bulldog athletic events for The Citadel. He's also done freelance work for ESPN3 and the Charleston Sports Network directing basketball games and working for PBS’s “Charleston After America” documentary.
“Tyler has done excellent work for both us and for Citadel athletics, and we expect a seamless transition as he hits the ground running in his new position,” President and General Manager Dave Echols said. “Fans this season will love what his video work adds to the ballpark experience as well as our online presence.”
Schwemin is a 2014 graduate of Northern Michigan University with a dual degree in media production and new technology and physical education.
The RiverDogs are the Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees.
