Personnel moves at Frampton Construction see a new hire, one promotion

A new hire, one promotion elevate the team at South Carolina building firm Frampton Construction Co. LLC.

Scott Serpas will serve as superintendent in Frampton's Charleston office, while Phillip Marino has been promoted to pre-construction manager.

In his new job, Serpas, a Camden, South Carolina native who brings 16 years of experience to the table, will work on-site to supervise and ensure safety on Frampton's construction projects.

Serpas' resume includes time as a project manager and as a superintendent with Atrium Builders Inc. He earned an associate's degree in business admininstration from Trident Technical College and also studied at Francis Marion University. He lives in Bonneau, South Carolina.

Marino will be taking on more responsibility with his promotion from assistant pre-construction manager to pre-construction manager. He brings much experience to the company, along with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Citadel.

Before coming to Frampton Marino, who hails from Charleston, worked for Baker Roofing as an estimator and project manager. He has worked since 2010 in the commercial roofing field. He now makes his home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Frampton serves customers across the Carolinas, providing planning and design support, pre-construction, construction and sustainability services from its offices in Charleston and Charlotte, North Carolina.
