The annual SC AgriBiz and Farm Expo, a statwide event showcasing the Palmetto State's farming industry, has been set for Jan. 13 and 14 at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina.
The expo brings together people, ideas and innovations from all areas of the agriculture industry and features a farm show to introduce new equipment and farm products. The expo also offers educational sessions with expert keynote speakers.
This year, the trade show will take place Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per day. Taste of SC will run Jan. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Santee Room and Ballroom. Tickets are $25 per person.
Additional activities on Jan. 13 will include SC AgriBIZ Youth Day; SC Food Truck Rodeo at the outside arena; commercial agricultural sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a cattle clinic from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and a small farmer symposium from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Activities on Jan. 14 will kick off with a Commissioner's Breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tickets are $25 per person and proceeds will benefit the SC Commissioner School for Agriculture.
Other activities on Jan. 14 will include the CAMM 2016 Conference (pre-registration required) from 9 a.m. to 5:10 p.m.; commercial agriculture sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and a small farmer symposium from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Also on Jan. 14, an AgriBiz Expo Alumni Reception for Clemson alumni will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
