A Charleston, South Carolina attorney was recently named secretary of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA).
James B. Hood, who practices at the Hood Law Firm in Charleston, was officially installed as SCDTAA secretary at the organization's annual meeting, which took place Nov. 5-8 in Amelia Island, Florida.
SCDTAA members are dedicated to uphold the virtues of justice, professionalism and ethics in the Palmetto State's courtrooms.
Rounding out SCDTAA's slate of new officers for 2016 were: President William S. Brown of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, Greenville; President-Elect David A. Anderson of Richardson Plowden, Columbia; and Treasurer Anthony W. Livoti of Murphy & Grantland, Columbia.
