Attorneys Tiffany D. Gibson of Florence and Cody T. Mitchell of Hartsville have been tapped to serve as ambassadors for the South Carolina Bar Foundation.
Gibson practices at the South Carolina Department of Social Services Child Support Services Division. She has also worked for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and was an assistant public defender in the 4th Circuit Public Defender’s Office.
Gibson graduated magna cum laude from Francis Marion University with a degree in political science. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Mitchell is a trial lawyer at Lucas, Warr, & White and serves as captain in the U.S. Army Reserve and as municipal judge for the Town of Bethune, South Carolina.
He earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law after receiving a bachelor's degree in history from Presbyterian College.
As ambassadors, Gibson and Mitchell will work with other ambassadors from around the Palmetto State on Bar Foundation projects, as well as to contribute to the foundation's legal services programs.
