Charleston, South Carolina-based software company Blackbaud recently welcomed Walter Loiselle and Robert Flaherty to its executive team.
Loiselle has accepted the position of senior vice president and COO of Blackbaud's Enterprise Customer Business Unit. In his new role, he will be tasked with heading and growing the company's professional services and support initiatives.
Loiselle brings to Blackbaud more than two decades of customer service experience. His most recent job was at Fiserv, where he served as COO for the company's digital channels division.
He also has an extensive background in technology and professional services. In his career, he has been involved in every phase of product development.
Robert Flaherty is Blackbaud's new VP of sales and chief enterprise customer officer. He has been with Blackbaud since September.
Flaherty's extensive resume includes three decades of experience in such areas as technology, enterprise sales and non-profit leadership.
He came to Blackbaud after a stint at the Salesforce Foundation as vice president of North American sales. He worked his way up to the VP position at Salesforce, having started as an enterprise representative.
Blackbaud's area of focus is the non-profit sector, and Flaherty has served a number of non-profits as a grant writer, program designer and program manager.
In addition to working with non-profits professionally, Flaherty also serves as a board member for Boston, Massachusetts-based Dove MA, an organization that assists victims of domestic violence. He is an active member of the Rotary Club and volunteers for a number of organizations, including the Greater Boston Food Bank.
