Robyn Rudish-Laning was recently appointed the communications coordinator for the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness.
She brings to the job five years of experience in the public relations and communications fields.
"The South Carolina Council on Competitiveness is looking forward to adding Robyn’s expertise to our growing team,” Ann Marie Stieritz, the organization's president and CEO, said. “Robyn’s background and skills are an asset to the council in her role coordinating day-to-day communications efforts.”
In her new job, Rudish-Laning, originally from New Jersey, will be tasked with overseeing communications duties in all the organization's operations and projects.
She earned a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's degree in media arts and technology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Rudish-Laning's resume includes time as a marketing coordinator for Eyenavision Inc. in Pittsburgh, as well as public relations, consulting and marketing jobs and work with nonprofit organizations and publications.
Rudish-Laning's memberships include the Public Relations Society of America’s South Carolina chapter.
