Ayelet Gilady will begin her tenure as general manager at Diamonds Direct's new location in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina when it opens in mid-December.
Gilady is a native of Herzelia, Israel. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in business development from Champlain College in Vermont. She went on to earn a law degree from Sha-arei Mishpat Academic College. After graduation, she was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association and practiced law there for two years.
Gilady's resume includes work in marketing and merchandising for the Israeli Diamond Exchange in Tel Aviv, Israel. She has also worked for several advertising companies in Israel and was the chief executive officer and co-owner of a firm within Vario Group in Tel Aviv.
Gilady is tasked with overseeing daily operations at the Diamonds Direct retail store, and will also maintain relations with clients. She now lives in Mount Pleasant.
