Charleston, South Carolina-based Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) was recently certified by the Office of Navy Certifying Authority in San Diego, California as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV), meaning its staff is trained in Navy-specific Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process requirements.
“LCE is proud to enhance our cybersecurity leadership in supporting the Navy with this Corporate Fully Qualified Navy Validator certification," Michael Hoyt, LCE’s director of cybersecurity operations, said. "This designation recognizes our success in Navy Certification and Accreditation as well as the diverse Information assurance qualifications and certifications our cybersecurity experts possess."
Life Cycle Engineering opened in 1976. The company now operates offices throughout North America.
With the certification, clients are assured that any Navy platforms or IT systems provided by LCE are in keeping with requirements set forth by the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Navy Information Assurance.
