A Greenville, South Carolina company was recently named to Architect Magazine's ARCHITECT 50 list.
McMillan Pazdan Smith was No. 33 on the list, rising seven places from last year. The ARCHITECT 50 list is an annual ranking of architecture firms and separates the ranked companies into business, design and sustainability categories.
McMillan Pazdan Smith specializes in master planning, architecture and interior design and operates offices in Charleston, Greenville, and Spartanburg, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; and Asheville and Charlotte, North Carolina.
“It’s encouraging to see our firm make strong progress year-over-year at the national level,” Chad Cousins, McMillan Pazdan Smith's CEO, said. “It’s a sign that what we’re doing works. And, it’s incredibly rewarding to see our team’s hard work recognized at this level as they strive each day to bring our clients’ visions to life.”
McMillan Pazdan and Smith was included in the business category list, which uses as criteria financial investments in research and donated work, profitability, net revenue and employee benefits.
The company received another honor recently when it was ranked 13th in the architecture division for Zweig Group's 2015 Best Firms to Work For award. The Zweig Group is a research and publication company focused on the architecture industry.
"Each of our team members is inherently valuable not just for what they know, but for what they add to the team," Cousins said. "Their individual perspectives inform our larger vision."
