Five local non-profits benefit from Carolina One Real Estate Services' awards distribution

Five South Carolina non-profit agencies were the beneficiaries of Carolina One Real Estate Services' (CORE) recent awards distribution.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), One80 Place, My Sister’s House (MSH), Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Hope House (MPPCHH) and the Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) all received $2,000 awards from CORE.

The recipients for the awards were selected by CORE's Charitable Contributions Committee, which includes Carolina One sales associates and is chaired by committee chairman Tom Tillery and sales associate Paige Pollack.

The first awards were presented in 2006. Since then, CORE has awarded nearly $200,000 to eligible non-profits in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.

The next round of awards will be announced in the spring. Applications are now being accepted and must be submitted by March 31, 2016.
