Business insurance provider Seibels Bruce Group, Inc., of Columbia, South Carolina, has appointed Molley Clarkson as the company's house counsel.
In her new role, Clarkson will be active in the development and strategic direction of Seibels' litigation practice, working mainly in the claims division.

With her thorough understanding of property and casualty claims, she will play a vital role in developing procedures and policies to improve the processing, investigation and settlement of litigation claims at Seibels.”
Clarkson is also charged with developing and aligning litigation strategies between the company and its departments. She will also advise on compliance issues.
Clarkson earned a bachelor of arts degree in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia in 2000 and went on to earn a juris doctor degree in 2003 from the Duke University School of Law. She has been in practice for more than 13 years and is a member of the South Carolina Bar and State Bar of Georgia.
Before coming to Seibels, she was a business litigation attorney with Atlanta, Georgia-based Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP.
