The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce said Wednesday it is reaching out to help small businesses affected by the recent storm and subsequent flooding by giving out six offices cubicles.
"Our hearts go out to all the businesses in Charleston who were affected by this past weekend’s storms and flooding," the chamber said in a news release . "The chamber would like to help any small-business member in need of office furniture or cubicles by donating a set of six office cubicles.
"These cubicles are in great shape and have electrical connections within them," the release said.
Although the cubicles are being given away free of charge, businesses receiving them will be responsible for disassembling, transporting and reassembling them. There are six cubicles available; they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
