Georgetown-based construction company Coastal Structures began construction on the new headquarters for Georgetown Kraft Credit Union on Aug. 14.
Construction is underway on the new headquarters for Georgetown Kraft Credit Union.
The project is being done by Georgetown-based commercial and industrial construction company Coastal Structures. The company broke ground on the 15,000-square-foot building at 1370 Frazier St. on Aug. 14. Construction is slated for completion in July 2016.
Building design was done by Tych and Walker Architects of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This will be the fourth new location Coastal Structures has done for Georgetown Kraft Credit Union.
In addition to housing the credit union's headquarters, the new location will also feature full-service banking. Those services will also remain available at the current Georgetown location at 1530 Bourne St.
“We are proud to break ground on the latest Georgetown Kraft Credit Union facility and support the organization’s growth,” Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures Corp., said.
