Keri Scott and Christina Fraser recently joined the team at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Scott is the chamber's new events and sponsorship manager. In her new role she will be responsible for the chamber's signature events as well as member and sponsor relations connected to those events.
Before coming to the chamber, Scott worked as the director of communications for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. She launched her own home organization business in 2007 and has also worked as a buyer for the menswear company Jos. A. Bank.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Delaware, from which she received a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and art design. She hails from Riverside, California, but has lived most of her life on the east coast (most recently in North Carolina). She now lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with her daughter Aslyn.
Fraser is the chamber's advocacy manager. The duties in her new job will include remaining informed about what is going on in the region, particularly regarding issues that affect businesses, as well as advocating for pro-business issues. She plans to attend meetings in the community to stay up-to-date and report her findings back to the chamber members.
Previously, Fraser was a lawyer in Pittsburgh, where she owned her own law firm, Fraser Law, LLC. She earned her undergraduate degree at Winthrop University (a bachelor's in psychology). She went on to earn her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law.
She is a native of Mount Pleasant, and has returned there after living in various locations across the country over the last decade.
