Keri Scott and Christina Fraser recently joined the team at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Scott is the chamber's new events and sponsorship manager. She will oversee the chamber's signature events as well as member and sponsorship relations related to those events.
Previously, Scott worked as the director of communications for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. In 2007, she created her own home organization business. When she graduated from college, she took a job as a buyer for menswear company Jos. A. Bank.
Scott earned a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and art design from the University of Delaware. She hails from Riverside, California, but has lived most of her life on the east coast, most recently in High Point, North Carolina.
She now lives in Mount Pleasant with her 4 and 1/2-year-old daughter Aslyn.
Fraser is the chamber's new advocacy manager. Her duties will include keeping abreast of what is going on in the region with regard to businesses, as well as advocating for local pro-business issues.
To accomplish this, Fraser will attend community meetings and report happenings back to chamber members.
Before joining the chamber, Fraser worked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as a lawyer. She launched her own law firm there, Fraser Law LLC.
Fraser earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Winthrop University, then went on to earn her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.
Fraser is a native of Mount Pleasant. After spending the last decade living in various cities throughout the United States, she has returned home.
