As the Berkeley County Volvo project comes toward completion, residents have questions about what the new plant will mean for the area's existing businesses.
To address those questions, the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce will host a briefing on Aug. 13.
The gathering will take place at noon at the Redbank Club, 2316 Redbank Road, Goose Creek. The featured speaker will be Jennifer Noel, deputy secretary of the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the project manager for the Volvo project.
Cost is $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. To RSVP, call 761-8238 or 577-9549 or register online at www.berkeleysc.org.
