Association of South Carolina Mayors elects new officers, board members

The Association of South Carolina Mayors met during the Municipal Association of South Carolina’s Annual Meeting last week to elect new officers and board members.


The Association of South Carolina Mayors met during the Municipal Association of South Carolina’s Annual Meeting last week to elect new officers and board members.

New officers are Donnie Hilliard, Santee, president; Foster Senn, Newberry, vice president; and Lisa Sulka, Bluffton, immediate past president.

New board members elected for three-year terms are Terrence Culbreath, Johnston, and Steve McDougall, Lexington. Elected to fill an expired term beginning Nov. 1 was Wayne McCall of Travelers Rest.

Returning board members are Dennis Raines, Mauldin; Francenia Ellis, Furman; Linda Page, Mount Pleasant; Tony Scully, Camden; Bill Collins, Summerville; Marion Glenn, Bowman; and George Sheppard, Tega Cay.

The Association of South Carolina Mayors was formed in 2011 as an offshoot of the Municipal Association of South Carolina and now boasts 114 members.
