Children's Museum of the Lowcountry names new executive director

Nichole Myles joins Charleston museum from the Putnam Museum & Science Center in Iowa.


The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry recently welcomed Nichole Myles at its new executive director,

Myles comes to the children's museum from the Putnam Museum & Science Center in Davenport, Iowa, where she was chief education and experience officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Maine, a master’s in educational administration from the University of Scranton and New England University, and a certificate of advanced graduate studies in non-profit management from Iowa State University.

The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry is at 25 Ann St., Charleston, South Carolina. The museum offers learning activities for children up to age 10. Free monthly program also are offered.
