Reginald “Reggie” Belcher, of Turner Padget Graham & Laney P.A., recently made Human Resource Executive’s annual list of the most powerful employment attorneys in the country for the fourth year running.
The list is based on feedback from clients, peers, colleagues and judges, and the selection process is handled jointly by Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon. The former is a journal with a readership of 75,000 human resource executives, while the latter is a law networking site based in Los Angles and used by more than 300,000 people throughout the country.
Belcher, who was the only South Carolina attorney to make the 100-lawyer list, represents businesses in state and federal courts as well as before government agencies. Some of his areas of expertise include writing employee handbooks, severance agreements, and non-compete and restrictive actions. He also offers counsel on compliance issues related to wage and hour laws, harassment, and union avoidance.
Belcher is a shareholder in Padget Graham’s Workplace Law Group, which works with businesses across the state on issues ranging from risk management to employment counseling and litigation.
