Auctions America recently announced that it will host a collector car auction on Hilton Head Island.

The new collector car auction will be part of the overall Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance. The auction will feature 100 investment-grade vehicles at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa on Oct.31.

“With our world-class ports and competitive business environment, South Carolina has quickly become a top destination for companies in the automotive industry,” Gov. Nikki Haley said. “The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival celebrates the diversity and heritage of this industry, and we welcome Auctions America to our state.”

Carolyn Vanagel, president of the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival, said they expect over 20,000 anticipated visitors and an amazing selection of cars.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance as we continue to expand our national footprint,” Donnie Gould, president of Auctions America, said. “The Motoring Festival is a perfect fit with our existing calendar, both in terms of its timing, as well as its location. Auctions America specializes in hosting events in some of the country’s leading automotive destinations, and Hilton Head Island is certainly a hub for collector car enthusiasts.”
