Charleston Weddings magazine was launched in January 2004 as a special insert in Charleston magazine.
This year, with its summer edition, the publication celebrates 10 years.
Charleston Weddings is now published three times a year. It became a stand-alone magazine in 2005; a year later CharlestonWeddingMag.com began and in 2012 a third print issue was added to what had been a twice-yearly printing.
Charleston Weddings is a publication of Gulfstream Communications, which in 2013 took ownership of the daily wedding blog The Wedding Row and added it to the Charleston Weddings site. The following spring, Charleston Weddings featured active Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook sites.
In 2014, the magazine launched its first iPad edition as well as a weekly newsletter, the Bridal Buzz.
Charleston Weddings is the regional media sponsor for Bliss retreats, and since 2008 has hosted the annual Charleston Weddings Spring Bridal Show Presented by Gathering Events, which is part of Baker Motor Company Charleston Fashion Week.
The 10th anniversary issue features fresh, new layouts, a new design and new departments to better showcase Lowcountry finds, services and talents and to best serve readers.
