Charleston Attorney Group (CAG) said Friday it has added a live chat feature to its website.
Attorneys in the group hope the new feature on CAG's website, http://CharlestonAttorneyGroup.com/, will lead to greater customer satisfaction, bring in new clients and allow the attorneys to be more engaged with the community.
“We hope to make it easier for new clients to reach out to us and discover ... we have legal solutions that might be suitable for them," Fred Zimwalt of CAG’s technical department said.
An online chat feature offers advantages that include the opportunity for both the client and the operator to keep a hard copy of the transcription of any exchange, instant answers to questions and immediate access to vital information.
“Offering our website visitors the capacity to take part in a live chat supplies customer care that proposes easier access to solutions of their legal issues as apparently straightforward as defending yourself in a criminal issue or negotiating a company contract to as complex as filing a suit,“ Zimwalt said.
Through the online chat feature, CAG lawyers will offer consultation on most kinds of cases.
“From filing for divorce and child custody issues to a problematic DUI case or personal injury suits, we hope that our new online chat feature will enable you to discover if we are a good fit for your legal needs without pressure and upfront commitment," a CAG attorney said. "Once we understand their particular legal situation, we can then more clearly outline costs and expectations for our clients. The online chat will help us to start that conversation easier and earlier.”
