Schumacher Homes, based in Canton, Ohio, said June 18 that it is opening a model home and design studio in Charleston, South Carolina.
“Up until now we have displayed the quality and unique features of our homes through the use of one-stop-shopping design centers in the Charleston market,” Schumacher Homes President and Founder Paul Schumacher said. “We just felt it was important to give our customers something they could touch and feel to really illustrate the quality that goes into every Schumacher home. This new location will also include a unique and expansive design studio that will provide a shopping experience that is unmatched in our industry.”
Two Schumacher custom homes will be on display at 271 Treeland Drive in Ladsen. The location will also feature a design studio complete with all items a customer could need to complete a new home.
From the studio, homeowners will be able to select countertops, carpet and everything in between.
The first home on display in Charleston will be the Heritage D, a 2,163-square-foot dwelling featuring a split-bedroom design, open floor plan, three bedrooms, two baths, a large kitchen with a party starter island, custom wood ceiling treatments, wood floors, custom ceiling beams and a great room with an entertainment center.
The second display home, the Abigail A, offers 3,420 square feet of space with five bedrooms including a first-floor master suite, three-and-a-half baths, a three-car garage, open floor plan, a great room with wood beam detail, a large kitchen with a party starter island, an abundance of cabinet and closet space, an oversize second-story loft and and walk-in pantry combined with a laundry room.
