Two representatives from NAI Avant’s Charleston office, senior broker David Ingle and managing partner David Grubbs, recently facilitated the lease of two offices in Charleston, South Carolina's newly redeveloped Cigar Factor building.
The construction at the corner of Columbus Street and East Bay downtown is almost finished. The mixed-use redevelopment project will provide renters with panoramic views of the port, harbor and city skyline as well as significant on-site green space and parking.
Ingle was the representative of the tenant, Garden & Gun LLC, a Southern lifestyle magazine based in Charleston. The lease expansion includes Suites 109, 110, 111 and 112. This will add more than 7,245 square feet to the company’s existing 25,102 square-foot office space. The new lease will house the headquarters for the company.
Grubbs served as the representative of the second tenant, ServisFirst Bank, a bank that is based in Alabama. This will be the first branch of the financial institution to be based in South Carolina. The bank will rent Suite 104 of the old Cigar Factor. This adds more than 3,262 square feet to the bank’s repertoire, in addition to the 5,112 square feet the bank has rented in suites 503, 505 and 507.
